The Beardless Wonder, circa 1968.jpg - This was taken at Rotax in Hemel Hempstead, but when the Engineering department was downstairs in the boiler house building behind the main building. Subsequently, it moved first of all to upstairs in the boiler house building (we spent a winter in the cricket pavilion while they built the mezzanine floor!), and then moved over the other side of Maylands Avenue to the old "Shiptons" building. Roger thinks that probably the only other person who remembers engineering when it was downstairs in the boiler house building will be Tony Purkiss but others may know differently!
